Mexican food is full of flavors and almost every dish has a history behind it, and that’s what makes it so delightful. It’s more than food; it’s a whole culture in one plate.
The word Panucho came after the guy that used to make them. The history tells that “Don Hucho” lived near Campeche and had a place for the people who were traveling, where they could stay and eat. One day a couple of guys asked him for something to eat, but it was late and he had almost nothing, so he made something up with the ingredient he had and the result was the famous Panucho.
Their Panuchos are a taste of Mexico in one bite. They consist of handmade corn tortillas, black bean puree on top, yucatan pulled pork, lettuce, avocado, fresh queso, and escabeche onion. I love the way they blended great food with an amazing atmosphere.
Without a doubt Don Hucho´s creation doesn’t fall flat at RG Cocina Mexicana, so if you want a cool and modern place to eat Mexican food with a twist, you know where to go.
